Welcome to HealthTech Week 2018 and your opportunity to hear from some of the industry’s brightest leaders and to engage, discuss and debate the future of one of the most interesting and dynamic industries in the world today.
HealthTech Week 2018 brings you the brightest minds in the health industry including Google’s global head of healthcare solutions, Aashima Gupta, the director of global health systems policy for Medtronic Dr Gabriela Prada, Patrick Combes from Amazon AWS, Sarah Fitt, CEO of Pharmac and of course the new Minister of Health, the honourable David Clark among others.

11 June – NZ Research and Clinical Trails Opportunities workshop
The workshop is designed to encourage stakeholders associated with medical device and digital health clinical trials to congregate and share knowledge in order to grow our New Zealand-based trials capability and enhance the lives of patients.

13 June - MedTech CoRE Annual Conference and CoRE showcase
Join us for the fourth annual MedTech CoRE Conference and industry showcase. The conference covers diverse topics of cutting-edge healthcare technologies developed by the MedTech CoRE and our partners, with an emphasis on research, design, clinical validation and implementation, and commercialisation.
14 June - Innovation & Investment Workshop
Callaghan Innovation, in conjunction with CMDT and MTANZ will hold the HealthTech Innovation & Investment Workshop as part of HealthTech Week. The workshop morning session will introduce eight new or emerging MedTech entities that have had little or no exposure to the New Zealand investor network. An afternoon session will then feature speakers on the theme of “Accelerate and Scale”. There will also be an interactive Q&A session with a workshop panel.
14 June - ABI MedTech Talk
Join us again this year for another exciting MedTech Talk hosted by the Auckland Bioengineering Institute. This talk will run as an interactive panel talk showcasing the latest developments of our research to the public and also acts a good networking opportunity. More details to follow.
