Beca is a New Zealand head quartered and regionally based professional services and engineering consultancy delivering Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing solutions across New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. Born out of over 25 years integrating and implementing digital technologies for the defence and aerospace industries, Beca brings this expertise to our clients as one of the largest Industrial / manufacturing focused teams in New Zealand.
Internationally, Beca has a relationship with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) who provide funding for Beca’s Singapore Innovation Hub which is used as a gateway to Beca’s Global Clients many of whom are head quartered in Singapore and utilise Beca for niche digital services.
Partnering with Callaghan Innovation
For the last 3+ years, Beca has partnered with Callaghan Innovation to deliver the Industry 4.0 Demonstration Network, a Government initiative to help New Zealand businesses realise the benefits of a range of digital technologies that will enhance manufacturing performance, output, monitoring and control. The Mobile Showcase, a free, interactive event that gives people the opportunity to engage, learn and imagine what is possible with technologies like digital twins, internet of things, collaborative robotics, artificial intelligence, AR, VR, and 3D printing, is led by Beca. Beca also contributed significantly to the development of the Smart Factory Tour, an interactive session with Nautech Electronics that shares how they have incorporated Industry 4.0 technologies in their business to improve efficiency, solve common manufacturing issues and connect their processes.
In addition to the Industry 4.0 Demonstration Network, Beca is also a Service Provider for Callaghan Innovation’s Digital Lean Programme.
Using Every Resource Wisely
