Our incubation model includes 3 discrete components:
1. Commercialisation of your technology
We provide funding to develop your idea into a proof of concept and expertise to licence, protect and patent your technology for use around the globe.
2. Improve your business capabilities
We invest deeply in our founders and are committed to growing your business capabilities alongside your venture through mentorship programmes and access to senior decision makers.
3. Facilitate your future growth
We establish pathways to global markets and provide international connections to investment capital for the next stage of your venture's growth.
We are a pre-seed and seed investor, and we can provide follow-on capital on selected investments through our parent company, The Bridgewest Group, headquartered in the US. Also, our US-based Capital Markets Team can help to run the next funding rounds using their global relationships and through leveraging our extensive international investor network.
Start-ups in our programme follow an accelerated investment model with pre-defined KPIs and milestones that typically see a value inflection point within 18 months. Our pre-seed investment includes an equity investment by us along with a repayable grant from Callaghan Innovation of up to NZ$750,000.
