Māori Innovation

Supercharging the Māori Economy through innovation

Tēnā koutou katoa, He uri ahau nō Te Arawa waka, Ko Ngāti Whakaue me Ngāti Tūwharetoa ōku iwi, Ko Francis Davy tōku ingoa.

As the Head of Māori Innovation at Callaghan Innovation, my role perfectly aligns with my passion to unlock the potential of the Māori economy and improving the wellbeing and economic independence of our people.

I spent 16 years overseas based in the United Kingdom and Southeast Asia, and have held leadership roles in international development NGOs, NZ corporate and government agencies.

I am a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and am proud to sit on the Board of Childfund NZ, supporting child wellbeing programmes with a focus on the Pacific region.

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of New Zealand's Māori economy and I'm eager to continue making a meaningful impact by sharing my expertise, leadership, and experience.
