Growing the capability of pakahi Māori
I work as a Navigator focused on the Māori economy working within the Poutama Trust providing business development services to Māori. My private sector background includes working extensively in South East Asia and China. This included management positions for London and Australian Stock Exchange listed companies, overseeing international business development, sales and marketing, and ecommerce/tech export start-up projects. My diversity of experience enables my customers to access exporting and manufacturing know-how for their entrepreneurial journey.
Overall I love contributing to initiatives that support and grow the capability of pakahi Māori. I bring enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, innovation, change and action (preferably practical) to all my customers. I love to boil everything down to the absolute essentials - what you want, and how to get it - and pinpointing clear goals and uncomplicated strategies. My insight helps businesses identify easy to achieve, practical solutions that can make a big difference to their project.
I work in a part time, contract, capacity and continue to work on other international and local projects.
