Facilitating storytelling within grant applications
My work as a Funding Engagement Specialist at Callaghan Innovation is supported by my background as a Chartered Accountant and MBA and experience from both the private and public sectors.
My primary work focus is guiding our customers through writing cohesive grant applications. I take pride in facilitating their storytelling process, allowing them to express their unique ideas and ambitions. I believe that when customers are given the space to articulate their own vision, the outcome is a more compelling and effective grant application.
One interesting observation I have made is that customers who do not fixate on the grant application deadline tend to write more cohesive applications. By not rushing to beat the deadline, they have the opportunity to carefully craft their proposals and consider all aspects of their project. This attention to detail and thoughtful approach often leads to stronger applications and a higher chance of success.
Each day my focus is on how I can guide and support our customers in their funding journey. I delight in connecting with them, understanding their unique challenges, and providing the necessary assistance to help them achieve their goals.
