Callaghan Innovation announces support for 2023 Hi-Tech awards, once again sponsoring the Hi-Tech Kamupene Māori o te Tau – Māori Company of the Year award.
The NZ Hi-Tech Awards celebrates New Zealand’s most successful hi-tech businesses and individuals, putting a spotlight on tech businesses and world-leading innovations.
Marking its 28th anniversary, the NZ Hi-Tech Awards 2023 will recognise game-changing Kiwi tech businesses across electronics, software, biotechnology, creative, agritech, telecommunications, and digital media.
Callaghan Innovation, New Zealand’s Innovation Agency, is proud to support the awards, by again sponsoring the Hi-Tech Kamupene Māori o te Tau – Māori Company of the Year award, for the 6th year. This year, for the first time in history, Callaghan Innovation is partnering with The Poutama Trust to sponsor this award and celebrate winning Maori businesses together.
The Poutama Trust provides business development services to thousands of Māori owned and operated businesses across Aotearoa. The team has a proven track record of working successfully with Maori businesses to help them grow. Poutama works across all sectors and industries that Maori businesses are involved in.
The year-long Hi-Tech Awards calendar features a host of events to showcase industry talent, and multiple opportunities to network with the who’s who of the tech industry, while learning from previous award winners.
