Introducing Forge
Forge, our new and improved grants platform is on its way. This page contains all of need-to-know information about the new platform the retirement of existing platform IMS, along with the key dates for your diary.

Key dates
No new applications can be started in the existing IMS platform after this date. If you’re thinking of starting an application and it’s not time sensitive, we’d ask you prepare offline and make the application in the new platform – dates below. If you have a draft application that you’re no longer wishing to make – please get in touch.
All customers will no longer be able to access IMS. Any in-progress applications will be closed at this point and will not be moved over to the new platform. This is the last opportunity to submit claims for payment on Thu 24th October. Scroll down for more details on payment runs during the transition period.
Log in details for new platform Forge will be emailed to customers who have an open contract. (Note: customers with closed contracts or declines in IMS, will not be moved to Forge.)
Existing customers (those with an open contract) can access the platform to process claims and access contracts.
New grants customers – those without Forge access – will be able to register for the platform. Please speak with your Customer Navigator or Funding Engagement Specialist.
All customers will be able to start new grant applications.
Need to know
Thu 10th Oct - normal fortnightly payment run.
Thu 24th Oct - final payment run for claims made in IMS. To be included in this payment run, claims must be made in IMS before the system's closure at 5pm on Mon 14th Oct.
Thu 7th Nov - no payment run - scheduled outage for systems change.
Thu 21st Nov - first payment run for claims made in Forge. To be included in this payment run, claims must be made between platform launch on Nov 1st and 5pm Monday 11 November.
Thu 5th Dec - normal fortnightly payment run (Deadline for submission, Mon 25th Nov, 5pm)
When IMS is closed, all draft applications and documents attached to previous applications will be lost.
If you have a draft application in IMS that you’re looking to upload into the new platform, please ensure that you have an offline copy. Please also take a quick moment to ensure that you have offline copies of any attachments from previous applications. Give us a shout if you need any help with this.
The new Forge platform has been built to be user friendly and intuitive for existing IMS users. We’ll be uploading a number of short how-to guides to this page nearer to launch.
Those that have an IMS profile but have not had an active contract in the past three years will be marked as inactive users and will not be moved over to the new platform. Please get in touch if this may affect you.

Thu 24th Oct - final payment run for claims made in IMS. To be included in this payment run, claims must be made in IMS before the system's closure at 5pm on Mon 14th Oct.
